Privacy Policy

TikTokit is a directory that displays publicly available information related to TikTok accounts (fetched from TikTok’s public pages). We value your trust and take privacy seriously. This policy explains what we collect and how we use it.

Browsing

We do not design the site to collect personal data from your device during normal browsing. Information is stored only when you submit it via forms (for example, a username when you “Add/Update” an account, or report text when you submit a report), plus standard server logs as described below.

Server logs (IP address)

When you visit any page, the hosting server may log standard technical information such as your IP address, visit date/time, user agent/browser, and requested URL. This data is used for operating the site, abuse prevention, and technical analytics, not for sale.

What we store

  • TikTok profiles: when you use “Add/Update”, we fetch what is public on the TikTok public profile page and store it on the server (in the data folder). We never ask for your TikTok password and we do not require you to log in to TikTok.
  • Profile views: we may increment a simple counter per profile page for internal statistics on this site only.
  • Reports: if you submit a report, we store the report text with the related username and date for review.

Third-party disclosure

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We may disclose information only when required by law, legal process, or to operate the service through providers (such as hosting or ads) under their standard policies.

Cookies

We may use cookies for basic site operation and analytics. For details, see our Cookies Policy.

External links

The site links to TikTok and other external websites. Their privacy policies are outside our control; please review them when you visit those sites.

Contact

For privacy questions or requests, use the Contact page or the email address shown there.

Data retention and security

We take reasonable steps to protect stored files on the server (for example, restricting direct access to the data folder via server configuration). No system can guarantee absolute security; some protection depends on hosting settings and operational practices.

Changes to this policy

We may update this page from time to time. Last updated: 2026-05-29.
